I am currently self-employed and working as a consultant and senior software engineer, as well as developing my own projects in hopes of finding success with a couple of them.
As a senior software developer with PCI, I work on the architecture team developing solutions for our suite of products used to manage and optimize power generation.
As a back-end software engineer and team lead at accesso, I lead a team that works on defects and small features. We primarily worked on developing back-end SaaS applications using Eclipse, Java, and MySQL. I am responsible for the organization of the teams backlog and planning of our meetings.
In addition to the duties as stated above, I am also responsible for several initiatives to improve our processes such as the Internal Environment Help Desk, the migration to and use of OpsGenie for on call, and the improvement of the new client back-end setup process.

As a software developer at Profitability of Hawaii, I worked in a team developing new customized software solutions. I primarily worked on developing web based applications using Eclipse, Java EE, GWT, HTML, Javascript, CSS, Tomcat and MySQL however I have also developed Java Swing applications, and worked on teams maintaining and developing enhancements to our legacy C applications.
In addition to the duties as stated above, I was also responsible for providing our customers with support for the Image Enabled Cost Accounting, Freight Forwarding, and Local Hauler software applications.
As the on-site Data Center Manager for our client (Gloucester County College) I was responsible for the day-to-day operation of the college’s Student Information System (CAPSTONE) and their Financial System (IFAS). These two key college administrative software systems made up the essential data processing functions for the daily operation of the college. I was also responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hardware that supported these information systems.
In addition to the duties as stated above, I was also responsible for the development of customized client reports, data extractions, and on-site client support/training.
